This week’s prompt

You work at a small company of under 10 people. This morning, you woke up feeling very sick. You decide to text your boss letting him know you won’t make it in today.

Last week’s corrections

You’re at a toy store with your Japanese niece (or nephew). You want to let them know that they can pick out a toy, and you’ll buy it for them.

This prompt gives me flashbacks to when we took our niece and nephew to a Toys R’ Us in Jeju, South Korea.

As soon as his mom left him alone with us, our 3-year-old nephew pulled down his pants and started waving his penis around.

He thought it was very funny.

I was less concerned about how to say, “Hey, I’ll buy you any toy you want,” and more concerned with saying, “Dude, could you pull up your pants?” Too bad I spoke zero Korean.

Fun times.
