Last week’s corrections
You’re at a toy store with your Japanese niece (or nephew). You want to let them know that they can pick out a toy, and you’ll buy it for them.
This prompt gives me flashbacks to when we took our niece and nephew to a Toys R’ Us in Jeju, South Korea.
As soon as his mom left him alone with us, our 3-year-old nephew pulled down his pants and started waving his penis around.
He thought it was very funny.
I was less concerned about how to say, “Hey, I’ll buy you any toy you want,” and more concerned with saying, “Dude, could you pull up your pants?” Too bad I spoke zero Korean.
