Plans for your stay
Hi again. Niko here.
This week’s prompt
Your friend just picked you up at the airport for your trip to Japan, and now you’re both on the train. They ask you if there is anything in particular you want to do while you’re in town.

Last week’s corrections
You just landed in Japan for your trip. Your friend is waiting for you when you finally get through immigration and customs.
This one is a little bit vague, as it doesn’t tell you the specific moment of your response. Is it when you’re closing the distance between you and them and call out 久しぶり![ひさしぶり!] (Long time no see!) or is it when they offer to take one of your bags, or is it when you’re making your way to the car or train?
I was thinking of going with something like:
迎えに来てくれてありがとう!
むかえ に きて くれて ありがとう!
Thanks for coming to pick me up! // Thanks for coming to meet me (at the airport)!
It seems some of us had similar ideas. ^_^
